Winning the GFZ Transfer Award 2025

We would like to congratulate Marco Bohnhoff (Head of Section 4.2, Geomechanics and Scientific Drilling), Rüdiger Giese (Head of Lab), and Thomas Wiersberg (Head of the ICDP Operational Support Group) on winning the GFZ Transfer Award 2025. With our 3D-US lab, we strongly support technology transfer and geophysical innovation projects in our section 4.2 Geomechanics and Scientific Drilling.

We also congratulate Katrin Jaksch on her participation in the second cohort of the TransferAcademy InnoSuper. The InnoSuper program trains scientists in the field of innovation and transfer to support and to ensure transfer in the long term.
